I value the unique qualities of each bride and groom and always seek to help them shine their brightest. This bride has eyes that could stop a truck and I'm sure the groom would agree. So why not make a portrait her loved ones would appreciate as well as one I hope would make her look and feel like a star? It's a simple head shot. But you have to know where the light is coming from and how to use it, and use the correct lens. There are lots of little things I pay attention to. I had her breathe through her mouth for fuller lips and a more engaging portrait. I also had her squinch her eyes just a little for a smoldering expression. This portrait was during getting ready photos at the Lodge at Leatham Smith in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.
